A month-long celebration of Corrales Culture and Heritage.

We would like to thank all of our partners, residents and attendees for a successful ¡Viva Corrales Celebration! We are fortunate to have such an amazing mix of culture, traditions, volunteers, businesses and community in our Village. We hope you all enjoy the rest of your summer and that the season is off to a great start!

During ¡Viva Corrales! days, visitors can get a taste of cultural events offered during Spring and Summer, as well as an introduction to the wide variety of organizations that make these things happen.  To showcase the diverse array of organizations contributing to the vibrancy of our Arts and Cultural District, we partnered to support a series of pre-existing creative and historical scheduled activities spanning over four weekends! ¡Viva Corrales! attracts local and regional residents to promote the awareness of participating groups’ activities. Experience the spirit and personality of Corrales and get a taste of the year’s excitement! Questions? Feel free to visit our contact page to reach out.

A few things to celebrate! We want to congratulate our Corrales community organizations for achieving the following:

  • Record sales and attendance for the annual Master Gardener’s plant sale.

  • Increased awareness for our Health and Wellness service providers in the village.

  • All free helmets distributed during the Rides, Strides and Giddyup event promoting safety for our equestrians, pedestrians and cyclists.

  • Increased local participation and awareness of cultural events.

  • Increased funds raised by the Corrales Tractor Club during their Annual Tractor Show.

  • Funds raised by Ex Novo for the Somos Unidos foundation.

  • Community input gathered for the Arts and Cultural District CEDP plan.

  • Increased awareness and participation in Equestrian activities.

These successes are made possible by hardworking and dedicated volunteers, organizations, businesses and Corraleńos! It takes a village working together to celebrate our unique culture, history and creative economy; honoring the traditions of the past to pass on to generations of the present and future!

The Community Garden at the Library was a huge part of our ¡Viva Corrales! celebration last year! Several artists and Corrales organizations collaborated to bring this project to life! Kids were able to plant vegetables with Master Gardner's and create plant markers out of pottery made here in the village. Local businesses partnered with the Corrales Society of Artists and Main Street to make a tile mural with kids in the village, containing some of their favorite Storybook creatures. Join us with your family to help plant this year's garden and come back to enjoy the park.
