¡Viva Corrales! - What is it?
A month-long celebration of Corrales culture, creativity, and community spirit!
Each spring, ¡Viva Corrales! highlights the vibrant events, arts, and heritage that make our village unique. Spanning four weekends, the celebration showcases local organizations and the many cultural experiences they bring to life. From art and history to wellness and equestrian fun, there’s something for everyone!
Highlights from last year included:
Record-breaking sales at the Master Gardeners’ plant sale
Greater visibility for local health & wellness providers
Free helmets distributed at Rides, Strides & Giddyup
Boosted participation in cultural and equestrian events
Funds raised by the Tractor Club and Ex Novo for community causes
Community input gathered for the Arts & Cultural District plan
These achievements were made possible by the incredible dedication of our volunteers, organizations, and Corraleños. Together, we honor our rich traditions and build a creative future for all.

Schedule of Events:
9am-5pm, at the Corrales Rec Center
Grower’s Market until 12pm. Acequia blessing will be held on the ditch behind the soccer field at 9:30am.
We are kicking off ¡Viva Corrales! days with this combined event! Rides, Strides and Giddyup will give a number of demonstrations to safely enjoy our walking and riding paths, and what to do if you encounter horses, bikes and other pedestrians along the way. CHAMP (Corrales Horse and Mule People) will be hosting equestrian activities and education at Top Form Arena. Our local growers will begin their regular season, along with Sandoval County's Master Gardeners, who will be selling plant starts for your garden! Events will take place at the Corrales Rec Center and Top Form Arena alongside the New Gym.

You and your family are invited to help plant this year’s seedlings in our Community Storybook Garden at the Corrales Library. Join the fun, get your hands in the soil, and help bring the garden to life—then come back all season long to enjoy the beauty you helped create!

Celebrating the 26th annual Corrales Art Studio Tour, by the Corrales Society of Artists! The tour begins with the Preview Gallery reception, held at the Historic Old Church on Thursday, May 1st from 6-9pm. The gallery will be open Friday from 1-4pm, then the tour begins the following morning! Pick up a catalog from businesses in Corrales and guide yourself through the village to see the studios and gallery that contribute to our Village's vibrant Fine Arts Community!

Participants will receive an introduction to bird identification and will have the opportunity to visit three working farms held in permanent conservation easement by New Mexico Land Conservancy Celebrating food grown and prepared in Corrales!
National Small Business Day is May 10th!
This special day honors the vital role small businesses play in our economy and encourages everyone to support local entrepreneurs. And with Mother’s Day on May 11th, it’s the perfect time to shop small and find meaningful gifts for the moms and mother figures in your life!
9AM to 4PM. The Corrales Tractor Club is hosting a show of antique tractors, engines, farm equipment, and classic cars. This year, the show will take place at the Catholic Church, San Ysidro Parish. All are welcome to attend!

Antique Tractor Show and Classic Car Show at San Ysidro Parish
The Corrales Historical Society Archives Committee will feature an exhibition of historical photographs and artifacts on "Celebrations and Ceremonies in the Old Church." The exhibition is open to the public, free of charge. We are particularly excited this year to highlight a new touch table, donated by Ideum, which showcases a small part of our large and growing photograph collection.
Heritage Day at the Old Church: Sponsored by the Corrales Historical Society and Casa San Ysidro
Mass and Fiestas at San Ysidro Parish
The Feast Day Mass of San Ysidro will be held inside the Old Church on Sunday, May 18th at 10 am for the second year in a row (inside the OC). The Matachines will lead a procession dancing from the Old Church to the new Church down Old Church Road to Corrales Road to start the San Ysidro Parish Fiestas de San Ysidro.
9am-5pm, at the Corrales Rec Center and the New Gym
Get a taste of local Health and Wellness services offered in and around the Village of Corrales. Local food trucks will be on site throughout the day. This is a free event with a few ticketed items on the schedule. Information will be posted once scheduling is available.
Health and Wellness Fair
At the Historic Old San Ysidro Church, 966 Old Church Rd from 9am-3pm
A day of mud, sweat and tears. Join the Corrales Historical Historical Society for this community led annual re-mudding of the Historic Old Church. Develop new skills, meet new people, connect with your community and expand your horizons. Come lend a hand!

This year’s Garden Tour is shifting it’s focus to sustainable gardening in the Southwest. We will be showcasing Corrales gardens that feature practices that may conserve water, invite local pollinators and minimize labor in upkeep. Learn how to garden for a more sustainable future in our high desert climate.
